A little space. Kept private.
How No Contact Steps handles information.
Your exercise responses
The before-you-text exercise keeps your choices and notes in this page’s memory. It does not send them to a server, an AI provider, or a coach. Leaving the exercise or refreshing the page clears them. Anyone who can see your screen can still see what you type.
Site preferences
The light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser so it can be remembered next time. Article search and filters are not saved.
No accounts or tracking
This website has no account registration, payments, newsletter collection, or analytics. Images and icons are served with the website. Vercel hosts this website. Ordinary page requests disclose technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time to the hosting provider. Exercise text is not included in those requests.
Videos and audio
The media libraries currently show upcoming content. When videos are available, the YouTube player will connect to YouTube only after you choose “Load video.” It uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode; YouTube’s own data practices still apply. Opening a YouTube link takes you to YouTube. Playing a recording or opening an audio file sends a request to the server hosting that recording.
Operator and contact
No Contact Steps is operated by Focus State. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@focusstate.com. We do not receive or retain your exercise notes. Hosting logs are handled by Vercel under its privacy policy. This page was updated on October 7, 2026.
